I create the foundation for healthier workplaces and work cultures

Hi, I’m Ellen.

I help sincere leaders and organizations create healthier workplaces and work cultures.

I do this through individual coaching, group keynotes, and organizational engagement that is designed to break through the systems that keep us trapped in cycles of burnout.

I know that when you care deeply about what you do, it can be easy to lose yourself in your work and hard to find your way back.

This is why I focus on helping you get honest about what is broken, and then guide you to do something real about it.

Because I believe that changing the world begins with changing the ways that we work.

I am currently taking on new clients for 2026. Should we talk? Let me know.

“Ellen is a disruptive thinker and coach in the very best way—providing perspective about what’s broken in society and our workplaces that sets up harmful expectations and “rules” that prevent us from being happy and fulfilled.  She gently helps clients like me question and unpack some of those learned assumptions and reclaim a more fulfilling path freer from some of the learned nonsense.”

With a combination of candor, sincerity, and a vast amount of research, I provide leaders and teams with the tools they need to find a more sustainable way to work without losing themselves in the process.

Whether through coaching, keynotes, or organizational engagement, I help leaders and teams learn how to work sustainably and humanely. By unlearning the need to give our work too much of our time and energy, I help you see how you’ll be more productive and efficient, while working fewer hours and feeling far less stress.

My clients leave with the vocabulary to name what's wrong, the clarity to know what they want, and the tools to actually change.

In our work together, you’ll learn how to build a healthy foundation for your workplace, one that results in better outcomes for everyone.

Because changing the world starts with changing the way we work.

Love from my clients:

“I recommend Ellen as a skillful, supportive thought partner and coach”

Ellen helped me hone in on some of my key interests, superpowers, and goals for my process ahead. I appreciate that she urged me to have grace for myself in the difficult work of transition, and modeled it with her warm, no-nonsense, we-all-could-be-more-kind-to-ourselves approach.

“[Ellen] is great at asking the questions that go a little deeper to untangle the ‘why’ as well as the ‘what’”

I’m delighted to recommend EWB Coaching as I’ve had the pleasure of clarifying my professional values, identifying my job strengths, and envisioning what more I want out of my career with Ellen over the past six months.

 Free Boundaries at Work Toolkit

Setting (and keeping) boundaries is one of the best things you can do to protect yourself from burnout at work. Our workplaces will keep on taking (and taking) unless we do something about it. But it can be hard (especially for women in workplaces that don’t work well for us) to speak up and stand strong. In this free guide I’ll provide you with scripts for those boundary-setting conversations and email templates so you’re prepared and confident in putting your needs first.
